The nesting season has begun

The nesting season has begun. Birds look for a quiet place to breed and build their nests. Please leave the area around an active nest undisturbed and postpone nearby work. Before working on a tree or hedge, we always check for nests. If a tree needs to be removed but contains an active nest, the work must wait until the nest is no longer occupied. Applicable Dutch nature legislation must always be respected. The nesting season generally runs from 15 March until around 15 July, although active nests remain protected outside this period as well.
