1. Identity and scope
Klusbedrijf Hoogesteger is established at Lindestraat 30 in Drunen, registered under Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 77137752 and VAT ID NL003161289B27.
These terms apply to enquiries, quotations and assignments for renovation, painting, garden maintenance, tree care and other work agreed in writing.
2. Enquiries and quotations
A website enquiry is without obligation and does not commit either party to an assignment. A quotation is prepared from the known situation, requirements and agreed scope.
A quotation is valid for 14 days unless it expressly states a different period. No charge applies when a customer does not respond to a quotation.
3. Price, VAT and additional work
Every assignment receives a tailored price. Amounts are shown including or excluding VAT as stated in the quotation; only the accepted written quotation determines the price and scope.
Additional work and any effect on price or planning are discussed in advance and carried out only after approval. A fixed total price applies only when agreed in writing.
4. Planning and completion
After acceptance, the work is scheduled by mutual agreement. Klusbedrijf Hoogesteger will inform the customer when circumstances affect an agreed start time.
The completed work is inspected together. Questions, damage or a result that does not match the agreement should be reported directly as soon as possible.
5. Invoicing and payment
When the quotation is signed, the customer pays a 40% materials advance. The quotation clearly states the calculation basis for this percentage. The advance is credited in full against the final invoice and is not described as non-refundable.
Private customers have a payment term of 7 days. Business customers have 14 days unless another period is agreed in writing beforehand. Payment is by bank transfer or iDEAL payment link.
6. Cancellation and consumer rights
If an accepted quotation is cancelled, no fixed penalty or intimidating standard charge applies. The customer pays only for demonstrably completed work, specially ordered non-returnable materials and unavoidable third-party commitments, less costs saved as a result of the cancellation.
Consumers retain all statutory rights. A 14-day cooling-off period may apply to a distance or off-premises contract. Work begins within that period only after the consumer expressly requests this and acknowledges the applicable consequences.
7. Priority of documents
If this website differs from a quotation or signed agreement, the specific written terms in the accepted quotation or agreement take precedence.
